and this year we took it outside!
After a long winter, everyone was eager to get outdoors and reap the benefits of being in nature. Gardening, in particular is an incredibly therapeutic activity - as it positively impacts the emotional, mental, and physical health of our older adults.
This year, with your support - and Canadian Tire's unbelievable "triple the impact" matching gift program - we were able to modernize our outdoor garden space!
New furniture is on the way, the pathways have been updated to be even more accessible and wheelchair friendly, and fresh flowers and planters have brightened up the space.
