GRATEFUL HEARTS TRIBUTE GIVING PROGRAM

Feeling grateful for a life well-lived or a special achievement? You can pass on your appreciation with our Grateful Hearts tribute giving program. Tribute giving is a wonderful way to remember a special person or to acknowledge a momentous occasion, while supporting excellence in innovative and compassionate care at Misericordia Health Centre.

You may choose to use your Grateful Hearts donation to:

• Celebrate a loved one's birthday;
• Commemorate an anniversary or special occasion such as Mother's Day or Father's Day;
• Honour the memory of a deceased relative or friend; or
• Say “thank you” to Misericordia – either the Health Centre itself or a specific staff member.

Your gifts made In Memory create a legacy for loved ones who have passed away, while gifts made In Honour are the perfect way to celebrate occasions that happen in your loved ones' lives, such as weddings, births and birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, and anniversaries.

We will send notification of In Memory gifts to the family of the deceased. For In Honour gifts we will send notification to the honoured individuals themselves. Gift amounts are never disclosed. Donations can be directed where most needed, or designated to specific areas of patient care.

If you would like to honour your loved one in a more public manner, you may wish to consider our recognition opportunities. Currently, we have the following opportunities* available associated with Misericordia Place:

• $150: Your gift at this level will assist with making our pathways more wheelchair friendly. In return for your generosity, you will receive an engraved brick placed in MP's community garden pathway.
• $500: Your gift at this level will assist with ongoing garden maintenance. In return for your generosity, you will receive an engraved plaque placed in the flowerbeds of MP's interior gardens.
• $750: Your gift at this level will assist with ongoing horticultural maintenance. In return for your generosity, you will receive an engraved plaque placed beside a tree in MP's courtyard.
• $2,500: Your gift at this level will assist with renewing our outdoor furniture. In return for your generosity, you will receive an engraved plaque placed on a bench in MP's courtyard.
• $5,000: Your gift at this level will assist with renewing our outdoor furniture. In return for your generosity, you will receive an engraved plaque placed on custom wheelchair accessible planter in MP's courtyard.
